2 BEDROOM, 4 SLEEPER TREEHOUSES ECO-FRIENDLY HOLIDAY ACCOMMODATION:
PHILOSOPHER'S PERCH
Philosophers Perch was the first tree house we built.
It flows around the existing trees. In the indigenous forest,
the trees are all protected, so rather than damage them in
any way they are incorporated into the design.
The tree house has 2 separate bedrooms. Up a flight of wavy stairs onto a deck, there is a bathroom off to the right,
up a few more stairs and the second bedroom is on your left.
The tree house sleeps 4.
Then through the kitchen dining area to a large open porch behind which is the main bedroom. It is a curvaceous tree house which blends into the forest.
The kitchen curves around the side of the deck. The loo and shower open into dense forest, however the only creature likely to witness your ablutions will be a Knysna Lourie.

THE FOREST ELDERS
The Forest Elders is our largest treehouse. Situated amongst huge trees, far from the main entertainment area, it has a view over the indigenous forest and out towards the Outeniqua Mountains.
It is a multi-level tree house; with two separate bedrooms, multiple deck heights and a bathroom underneath the main bedroom. There is an additional single sleeper couch in the second bedroom. The tree house sleeps 5; 2 adults and 3 kids
It was built on a steep slope so the main bedroom is very high.
It has its own private deck inside a Rhus Chirendensis.
The kitchen looks over the front deck which has forest views that stretch on forever.
Each treehouse is unique. This one has a glassed shower facing into the forest, and a great loo with a view.
The forest entrance
is lit with pretty fairy lights.
The rounded benches provide ample seating space. On a hot summers evening open all the windows and a wonderful cool breeze blows right through.
Designed in winter and built in summer, this is a truly all weather tree house.
